The Severn Riverkeeper Program is always looking for volunteers. Whether you want to get your hands dirty helping with water quality monitoring or aid in keeping up with office paperwork we have a job for you! 

We can tailor volunteering hours to your schedule, and are willing to help students with school credit for their time. Please contact our staff members at 410 849-8540 for more information.

If you're interested in helping, we have much to do!  Here are some examples:

  • Water Quality Monitoring - Summertime

  • Yellow Perch Monitoring - March - April annually

  • Membership renewal mailings - Bi-annually

  • Annual Stream Clean-up - April

  • Celebrate the Severn! annual benefit committee - Summer - Fall annually

  • Other Fundraising Ideas

  • Internal Management - Accounting, IT, etc.

Our success depends on your participation!  We have many active members and partnerships, but need everyone on the river to join in this effort. Together we can save the Severn.
